Sara - Acupuncturist ATCM & Sports Massage Therapist
Sara graduated as an Acupuncturist at Escola Superior de Medicina Tradicional China (ESMTC) in Barcelona (Spain) and completed a clinical stage at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing (China). She has also trained in advanced acupuncture techniques for fertility, gynaecology, pain management and musculoskeletal conditions.
She trained in Sports Massage at the Western School in Glasgow and has also gained qualifications in advanced soft tissue treatment and mobilisation over the years.
Sara has also gained a qualification as a Yoga teacher 200H recognised by the Yoga Alliance and is a qualified Hypopressives instructor for Pelvic Floor and Core health.
As an acupuncturist she has treated a wide variety of different conditions, helping all those who come to the clinic seeking to alleviate the symptoms they are facing. Sara has provided palliative treatment through acupuncture at Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice at Stobhill Hospital
in Glasgow. She has worked in sports and therapy centres for several years. This background gives her a wide knowledge to treat specific needs involved in sports massage and sports injuries. She is a member of ATCM, FHT and the CAUK.
